Virtual CWC Resolution

RESOLUTION

As notified, virtual CWC was held under the presidentship of Com D. Gopalakrishnan, CHQ President today (18/7/26).

46 CWC members attended. 37 members expressed their inability to attend because of personal reasons. .... members expressed their opinion that the association has no other option but to file SLP in Hon supreme court against Hon Delhi high court judgement delivered on 1/7/2026 setting aside Hon PB CAT judgement. The only exception was the voice of Com K Muthiyalu who expressed his opinion against filing SLP and said that Delhi HC judgement is correct. With his lone dissent voice 

The Central Working Committee of AIBSNLPWA, which met virtually today resolved to challenge the judgment of the Hon’ble Delhi High Court in the BSNL Pension Revision case by filing a Special Leave Petition (SLP) before the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India.

The CWC resolved to engage the best available Senior Counsel/Advocate to effectively present the case and protect the legitimate demand of pension revision to BSNL and MTNL absorbed pensioners. At present there is no need to seek donation and the expenses shall be met from the available legal fund.

The CWC noted that this decision is in conformity with the resolution of the Ernakulam All India Conference to pursue the pension revision issue to its logical conclusion. The CWC authorised CHQ to take all necessary steps in this regard 

The CWC appeals to all members to remain united and extend their full cooperation and support to CHQ. All are requested to take this decision to the grassroot members and the leaders have to adhere to the organisational discipline  and tell the CWC decision only.
