AIBSNLPWA Delegation Meets DoPT Secretary on Pension Revision inclusion in Terms of Reference to 8th CPC. 
A team led by Com. V. Vara Prasad, General Secretary, along with Com. R. S. N. Murty, Vice President, and Com. J. S. Dahia, Organizing Secretary, met Ms. Rachana Shah, Secretary, Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), at her office in North Block, New Delhi.

During the meeting, we explained the issue of including BSNL pension revision in the Terms of Reference of the 8th Central Pay Commission (CPC). The Secretary gave us a patient hearing and assured us that she would take appropriate action on the matter.
The meeting lasted for about 20 minutes, and we expressed our gratitude to her for giving us the opportunity to present our case before the finalization of the Terms of Reference.

Annanagar Branch of Chennai Telephone Circle conducted Annual General Body meeting on 08-02-2025 at 09-30 hours in the campus of Annanagar Telephone Exchange Campus. The Appeal Petition filed by us before High Court of Kerala requesting pension at 50% of Last Pay Drawn for BSNL staff retired before 01.01.2006,  was taken up today by the HC. Our lawyer argued. Government Lawyer was 'not ready to  argue' today. So the Case is adjourned to next Friday for their argument.
