From 01-10-2025  IDA increases slightly by 6.2%

Total IDA will be  233.3% 

As per the Labour Bureau’s Press Release, the All-India Consumer Price Index for Industrial Workers (CPI-IW) with base year 2016=100 for August 2025 increased by 0.6 points, reaching 147.1.

Upon conversion to the 2001=100 series, this corresponds to 423.65 points.

Accordingly, the IDA rate applicable from 1st October 2025 for BSNL absorbee pensioners (2007 pay scale) will be 233.3%, which reflects an increase of 6.2% over the existing IDA of 227.1% (as on 1st July 2025).
