1. PROVISIONAL
RELIEF TO PENSIONERS COVERED UNDER ONE INCREMENT 78.2% FITMENT

Roughly
about 187 Pensioners of Chennai Telephones were denied 78.2% IDA Merged
enhanced Pension from 10.06.2013 to till date on the grounds of CAT case is
contemplating vide OA No. 310/2018/2017. We pursued the issue with CCA, TN that
such of these Pensioners are to be excluded from the purview of the case on
various occasions. We finally gave a memorandum to our CCA on 25.07.2019 while
he attended our Chromepet Branch Conference. On the very same day in the dias
while addressing the Conference CCA assured that he will consider our grievance
/ memorandum & discuss the same DOT officers whom he meets the next day
(26.07.2019) at Trivandrum. Accordingly in the Adalat held on 23.08.2019, it
was informed by our CCA that provisionally pending Disposal of CAT case, for
other than litigants, 78.2% IDA Merger will be extended without counting
additional Increment granted to them prior to 12 months before retirement in
lieu of Gr.IV, and if the CAT judgement is in favour of the Pensioners, one
more revision will be carried out. These information he once again shared in
the Kumbakonam Adalat held during Oct/Nov.19. As assured by our CCA Shri.
Chittaranjan Pradhan, orders are being issued to these Pensioners enhancing
their Basic Pension to some extent from 10.06.2013 & we get feedback from
these Pensioners that they have received the orders. We hope arrears will be
drawn and paid before Pongal. We sincerely thank CCA Sri. Chittaranjan Pradhan
for his efforts in addressing the Grievance of our Pensioners provisionally.

2. Hurdles in on line payments to become CGHS beneficiary.

issue titled above,
Our Chennai Telephones Circle of AIBSNLPWA already taken up
the issue with Special Secretary, Ministry of Health and family welfare, New
Delhi vide our letter dated 06.11.2019 & a report was called for by CGHS HQ
from Additional Director, Chennai vide their letter dated 02.12.2019. To know
the outcome of our Representation dated 06.11.2019, myself along with S.
Krishnamurthy & R. Marimuthu Br. Secy,
Chomepet yesterday the 27.12.2019 met Additional Director CGHS Chennai
Dr.TS Padmalakshmi & PAO Smt. T. Hemalatha. During the discussion they
resisted to accept payment by DD beyond 31.12.2019 on the grounds of norms
prescribed by HQrs to encourage the policy spelled under Digital India. We
requested to extend acceptance of DD for a further period of 6 months, so that
we may pursue with CGHS HQrs & sought their cooperation. Addl. Director
CGHS Chennai immediately sent a mail to the PAO to consider our request &
given a copy of the mail to us. The outcome of our request will be known
Presumably by next week. Let's hope that our request will be concurred with by
CGHS Chennai. Our Chennai Telephones Circle of AIBSNLPWA is dedicated to solve
the issue of dispensing with on line payment permanently. WIshing all our
