STATUS OF PENSION REVISION CASE IN DELHI HIGH COURT

As you are aware, the matters were listed today before HMJ Navin Chawla and HMJ Shalinder Kaur.

The Union of India started arguing the matter.

The Court asked Mr Ghose about the issue and he explained that in terms of Rule 37 Sub Rule 8A of the CCS Pension Rules, the absorbee pensioners were promised parity in the matter of pension with central government pensioners. He further told the Court about the recent Kerala HC judgment where the Court has reaffirmed this position.

The Counsel for Union of India essentially referred to a chart submitted by them as part of the written submissions to demonstrate how BSNL absorbee pensioners are getting more pension than Central Government pensioners. He also stated that the Union will be filing an SLP against the judgment of the Kerala High Court.

The Court posted the matter on 19th August at 3:30 PM for further arguments.

 இராஜரத்தினம் ஸ்டேடியம் எதிரில் 

 25.7.2025 மாலை 3 மணி முதல் 4 மணி வரை

 மனிதச் சங்கிலி இயக்கம் நடத்திட காவல் துறை அனுமதியளித்துள்ளது.

இந்த அனுமதியை பெறுவதற்காக அரை நாள் கடுமையாக போராடிய தோழர் நாராயணன் அவர்களுக்கு வாழ்த்துகள்!

It is with profound sorrow that we inform you of the passing of our beloved and respected leader of Bharat Pensioners Samaj

on 3rd July 2025.

With his departure, we have lost a dedicated, committed, and visionary guide. His contributions, devotion, and leadership will always remain a source of inspiration for all of us.

His final journey and cremation will take place on 4th July 2025 in Gurugram.

The exact location and time will be communicated shortly.

On behalf of Bharat Pensioners Samaj, we offer our heartfelt condolences and pray for eternal peace to the departed soul.

May the Almighty grant strength to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.

On behalf of All India BSNL Pensioners’ Welfare Association (AIBSNLPWA), we are deeply sorry to express our heartfelt condolences on the sad demise of the respected leader of Bharat Pensioners Samaj, Shri S C Maheswari ,  who passed away on 3rd July 2025.

In his passing, the pensioners’ community across the nation has lost a committed voice, a visionary leader, and a tireless advocate for the welfare of senior citizens. His dedication and contribution to the cause of pensioners will always be remembered and cherished.
